Zappa Plays Zappa - Punky's Whips (04:15)
Unfortunately I couldn't include the presentation by Joe Travers, otherwise it would pass the 10
minute limit. And believe me, it's almost a crime to split the video in two, this one is phenomenal.
They're very brave to play this. Some things are of course impossible to reproduce from Zappa's performances. But some parts are even more interesting. Nice give and take.

At the expense of getting my ass flamed, I have to say this.....Barry Brandt, you know the drummer in Punky's band (Angel), plays w/ more feeling than the elitist Bozzio...and he never played in his underwear like Bozzio did....

A fine rendition indeed .
My absolute ultimate favourite is the original vinyl version, as the cd release is drowned in crappy overdubbed guitar.....probably seemed a good idea at the time
